Time has seemed to have flown by! We have kept quiet busy this month of June so I will lump all of our activities in this one post. (Sorry for the delay Anne)
Lets see, where to start? Grace continued her love of dance in a shorten summer session. Instead of the usual ballet and tap, they included organized group dances "Annie's, It's a Hard Knock Life" and songs from "Cinderella" She is looking forward to the fall when she can go back full time.
This month we have continued our weekly library visits which resulted in Cameron & Grace completing the summer reading program in 4 weeks! They love there chapter books and audio books, which gave them more points. Also at the library we enjoyed "Amazon John" and his amazing animals from around the world, and a crazy magician that was fun for the kids and parents a like.
Audrey got to participate in her first Vacation Bible School. She was sooooo cute walking in with the rest of the kids. She came back singing the songs and talking a mile a minute. The 3 oldest were blessed hanging out at VBS for a week, and I got to experience what it is like to only have 1 child. It was a little eerie and quiet. Did you know that when you don't have 4 kids with you all the time you can get the grocery shopping done quicker and clean the bathrooms in one day! Amazing I know.
Another highlight in June was spending a Saturday downtown with Daddy at the "PBS kids party in the park" It was a giant festival with characters from PBS shows walking around. Bouncy houses, giant slides, carnival games galore!
We finished the month visiting Goshen. Tim went on a business trip to Las Vegas so I load the 4 munchkins up and made the 3 hour trip to Grandmas. Aunt Annie took us to Chuck E Cheese and my new favorite store, Charming Charlie. The kids got their crazies out on the slip-n-slide and loaded up their bellies on Grandmas snack cupboard.
This summer we have also enjoyed the pool at our subdivision. The kids would stay all day if we let them, I think they are actually fish. One benefit to the frequent trips is the nice tan mommy gets :)
