Last week in Science we discovered and explored enzymes. For a hands on approach to explain how they worked, we spent time in our "science lab" (aka kitchen) Here is Grace mixing jello and dividing it between two bowls. In one bowl she placed sliced kiwis, and left the other one plain. After placing them into the refrigerator of science (you have to say that in a dramatic Bill Nye voice) we looked at our results. The plain jello was firm and delicious looking, the kiwi bowl was still liquid. One benefit of kitchen science, you can eat your experiment :) Thank you enzymes for all you do
